This Week...The Devere Daresbury Park in Warrington, The White Hart at Lydgate and The Foxfields Hotel in ClitheroeThere are three Wedding Fayres being held this weekend (12th February), one at The Devere Daresbury Park in Warrington, one at The White Hart at Lydgate and the third at The Foxfields Hotel in Clitheroe. These shows will be able to provide any prospective brides or grooms with just what they need to help create their special day and possibly give them a few extra ideas. To read more details of when and where these events are to be please visit our Latest News page.

Although the snow badly affected some of wedding fayres over the weekend a lot of them managed to go ahead without a hitch, hopefully yours was one of the one's that did managed to open their doors. The Press, TV and Radio understandably were telling everyone to stay at home and not to go out unless really necessary, this didn't help all the hard working wedding professionals that did dig themselves out of the snow and attend the shows. Due to the media being over cautious in some cases, there was a pretty pore turnout at a handful of venues with the weather alone affecting the odd one or two having to cancel altogether. Some on the other hand weren't affected by the weather at all and experienced record turnouts.
Lancashire County Cricket Club / Old Trafford Cricket Ground Wedding Fayre - 2012
Sadly the fayre at L.C.C.C. for the Messenger Newspaper, although very well advertised and organised, was one that got hit by the "stay indoors" message from the media. Admittedly a few exhibitors just couldn't get there, but despite all that there was an exhibition hall full of exhibitors and we got a couple of hundred people through the doors (photos). The event itself had promised to be so much better and would have been. Beside the girls from the Messenger, Dawn and Zoe, thanks must go out to The Lancashire County Cricket Club, it's staff and it's amazing brand new facilities, they did an excellent job.

It's here, by popular demand we have now launched our very own
